Go Beyond at the 2027 Semex Conference

The date is set for the 2027 Semex International Dairy Conference, titled Go Beyond. In its familiar home of The Radisson Blu Hotel in Glasgow, the Conference will take place between the 10th and 12th January 2027.

The Semex Conference promises to bring together those that Go beyond the everyday norm, those who make change, make noise and make a difference. In an industry that continually goes beyond what is asked of it, delegates will hear from a speaker line-up that goes beyond to innovate, bring fresh ideas and solutions to the sector. Once again, we look forward to welcoming a fantastic line-up of speakers and delegates to Glasgow where delegates will be encouraged to go beyond their farm gate and embrace the future.

Chris Walkland

UK Journalist & Market Analyst

"As ever it's a huge privilege to speak at the Semex International Dairy Conference and to be part of one of the industry's great get-togethers for knowledge exchange, for networking and to simply celebrate. The 2027 conference will be my ninth in a row as speaker, and every year the event seems to get better and better. I am looking forward to speaking and learning from all the other speakers and delegates who contribute to making the conference excel. Last year, I predicted a significant and sustained downturn for the industry and next year I'm looking forward to predicting a significant and sustained upturn. We're certainly going to need it."

Specialising in the dairy sector for over 26 years, Chris has commented on all aspects of the dairy supply chain from primary production down on the farm, through economics and politics at processor level. Chris writes the fortnightly dairy report for The Provision Trade Federation, and a monthly column for British Dairying and is “everybody’s favourite dairy market analyst” with his regular contribution on the Kite Podcast.
