Semex UK – Senior Admin Role

 

 

An opportunity has arisen to join the head office team in Semex UK

 

The successful candidate will join the Accounts and Personnel team and work closely with the wider office and sales teams

 

Location – Monkton

 

Part time – Minimum 16 hours/week – flexible days

 

Salary – Dependent on experience

 

Responsibilities and Duties

 

  • Record all journal entries for UK business

  • Liaise with Semex Alliance in Canada

  • Assist with month end reports and annual audit

  • Provide support for Payroll

  • General company admin

 

 

Skills and Experience

 

  • Accounts experience essential

  • Willing to learn in-house computer systems

  • Payroll experience preferable (not essential)

  • Competent user of Microsoft Office

  • Honesty and trustworthiness must be a key attribute

  • Possessing a confidential manner is necessary

  • Organised manner with the ability to multi-task priorities and handle different projects efficiently with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written and the ability to communicate at all levels

  • Ability to work both independently and as a team member

  • Flexible, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work

  • Ability to stay ‘cool’ when the pressure is on
